You can add as many photographs as you would like in your funeral order of service – there is no limit. Most families choose to feature anywhere between 2–15 photos throughout the booklet, though some opt for more to create a comprehensive visual tribute.
Where to place photos in your booklet:
- Cover page: A main portrait or a meaningful photo of your loved one
- Inside pages: Candid moment, family gatherings, or milestone celebrations
- Back cover: A final cherished photo or a photo collage
- Throughout sections: Photos that reflect different stages alongside readings and hymns
The number of photos often depends on your booklet format. A folded 4-page order of service booklet typically accommodates 3–6 photos comfortably, while an 8 – 20-page booklet can showcase 20 plus photos without making it look cluttered.
Tips for selecting photos: Choose high resolution images to capture your loved one’s personality and journey and for non pixelated funeral prints. Consider grouping photos chronically (childhood, family, hobbies etc).
